''NED''
NED is the inventor of Layer Art which became his signature artwork. Layer Art is composed of different material layers that get placed into a base closely to each other but at different shapes to create a three-dimensional sculptural relief resembling unique shapes. Each layer becomes a natural canvas that gets painted over with a paint brush to reveal the actual image in color. With this technique, NED manages to turn an unique shapes of layers into beautiful and delicate imagery. Even though Layer Art is our best seller, NED is constantly thinking of new ideas and techniques for his art.
Each layer represents the effect of time on people. The fluidity of time is like a wound on each figure. Tears, which represent the first movement of existence in the world, have a different expression for everyone.
With over 10 years of experience as a professional artist and architect, NED’s work pushes the boundaries of artistic expression. NED strives to create intelligent and original concepts.
His work has been in many collections around the Turkey.
